Solutions Developer

Position Summary:

The Solutions Developer will play an integral role working with clients on integration projects, providing design and integration development expertise, and helping support and maintain our clients. The Solutions Developer works under the direction of the Director of Technology Integrations and is responsible for the execution of integration and migration strategy including design and documentation mapping, development methodology, client interaction, and other related duties.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Serve as the solution engineer in prospect and/or client discussions with the goal to identify business opportunities and requirements
  • Independently analyze and prioritize project roadmaps and requirements
  • Translate business requirements into technical project specifications and well-designed solutions
  • Work as part of the technical development team to validate feasibility of a proposed solution design
  • Create clear and concise documentation for clients to utilize and share internally, as required
  • Propose solutions to stakeholders, providing supporting insight for the recommendations made based on business requirements, feasibility, and/or technical limitations
  • Lead the effort in quality assurance (QA) and user acceptance testing (UAT) with key stakeholders, and debug as required
  • Develop and maintain internal process documentation and knowledge base material

  • Ability to function as the strategic client advisor who can tactfully navigate the complex or difficult clients situations to keep a project on schedule and within budget

  • Ability to independently and professionally handle multiple projects/clients simultaneously 
  • Ability to identify the unanswered obstacles of a project, and ensure alignment with stakeholders
  • Strong ability to limit assumptions and unearth the critical requirements of projects
  • Extremely comfortable solving new technical challenges and navigating unfamiliar territory in various types of environments
  • Willingness to serve in a fast-paced environment that requires flexibility
  • Proven ability to meet and accommodate deadlines

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years of integration and migration experience with CRMs and/or marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Sugar CRM, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or demonstrated industry experience
  • Client-facing experience managing projects, expectations, and outcomes for multiple clients at a given time
  • Experience with basic JavaScript development and JSON data structures
  • Ability to develop technical solutions involving multiple platforms
  • Firm understanding of RESTful/SOAP design

Candidates who will stand out will also have:

  • Previous experience with SOAP API’s
  • Previous hands-on experience working with integration software
  • Experience working with HubSpot 
  • Understanding of sales and marketing processes
  • Understanding of relational database concepts
  • Remote work experience
