HubSpot Implementation Strategist

The HubSpot Implementation strategist will play an integral role working with existing and prospective clients on HubSpot integration and migration projects, leading the estimation and scoping of new projects, providing design and integration expertise. The Hubspot Implementation Strategist  will participate in new business and internal integration and migration scoping discussions and be responsible for helping develop strategy, solution design, documentation and lead implementation. 

The HubSpot Implementation strategist will serve not only as a client facing resource but an internal leader for developing best practices and training related to HubSpot.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Serve as the solution designer in prospect and/or client discussions with the goal to identify business opportunities and requirements
  • Independently analyze and prioritize project roadmaps and requirement gathering
  • Translate business requirements into project specifications and well-designed solutions
  • Create clear and concise documentation for clients to utilize and share internally, as required
  • Propose solutions to stakeholders, providing supporting insight for the recommendations made based on business requirements, feasibility, and/or technical limitations
  • Lead the effort in quality assurance (QA) and user acceptance testing (UAT) with key stakeholders, and debug as required
  • Develop and maintain internal process documentation and knowledge base material

  • Some technical skills but can guide conversations in business speak/use cases.
  • Driven, passionate about solution design and process improvement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to function as the strategic client advisor who can tactfully navigate the complex or difficult clients situations to keep a project on schedule and within budget
  • Ability to translate sophisticated technical concepts and present in non-technical fashion while articulating the benefits of the solution
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to independently and professionally handle multiple projects/clients simultaneously 
  • Ability to identify the unseen obstacles of a project, and ensure alignment with stakeholders
  • Strong ability to limit assumptions and unearth the critical requirements of projects
  • Willingness to serve in a fast-paced environment that requires flexibility
  • HubSpot:
    • Near expert level HubSpot user, well versed in setting up any of the Hubs
    • Solid understanding of HubSpot Custom Objects
    • Solid understanding of how integrations work with HubSpot
    • Expert understanding of structuring data properties for usefulness in both marketing and CRM
    • Expert level on workflows and automation
    • Understanding of QA processes and how to handle those with HubSpot
  • Migration:
    • Experience with mapping data from other CRM’s/MAP’s into HubSpot
    • Exposure to some combination of Marketo, Pardot, Dynamics, Salesforce, and other CRM’s preferred (no user experience required)
  • Integrations
    • Knowledge of the main HubSpot native apps that are commonly used:  Salesforce, Zoom, Zoominfo, etc

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Worked in HubSpot for 5+ years in new user setup, implementations, etc
  • Strong Marketing Ops or Sales Op knowledge
  • Client-facing experience managing projects, expectations, and outcomes for multiple clients at a given time

 

Candidates who will stand out will also have:

  • Project management experience preferred
  • Previous hands-on experience working with integration software
  • Understanding of sales and marketing processes
  • Understanding of relational database concepts
  • Remote work experience
